GLASSES!!!!!!!

Tonight my little boy became a big boy.  He has glasses.  Here are some pictures.  Enjoy!!             After we got home and he had eaten some oreo’s, this is what he looked like on the couch.  He kept the glasses on all evening.  I’m so proud.

Visit to the Eye Doctor

Today was the day that Thomas went to get his “See to Learn” eye exam.  So we got there early and decided to try on glasses.  We have been thinking that some day both the kids will need glasses so we try them on whenever we have a chance.  He tried on as many as he could before they called him back for his exam.

So we went back and he got up in the big chair.  We talked about the Doctor and how he knows Mimi and Uncle Mike and Mommy even goes to the same doctor.  Then Dr. Malon came in and Thomas was great.  Then they dialated his eyes and it was down hill from there.

So long story made short, Thomas needs glasses.  He is far sided with a lazy eye, takes after his mom.  I have always expected it but it still made me cry.  Thomas on the other hand was really excited to pick out glasses.  He went in, picked the pair he liked and wouldn’t budge.  They were the memory steel expensive ones and looked great on him.  So that is what we got him (lenses were free on special right now).  So this time next week, Thomas will have new glasses.  Here is a sneak peak……..

Caitlin – posing, shake addiction, and Daddy’s girl

This picture is of Caitlin posing with some cute sunglasses while shopping at Dillons.  She was very proud.  These next few pictures are of us at the new Cheeburger Cheeburger here in Topeka (soooo not worth what it costs to eat there), and Caitlin wanted some of the shake.  As you can see she really liked it.  She wanted more…and more…and more…and more…and then when we took it away……. this is what happened –>

  And finally tonight when we put Caitlin to bed I put on these PJ’s that belonged to Chris when he was her age.  She is such a Daddy’s Girl, so this was perfect.  And she posed again.    Then she went out and sat with daddy on the couch before going to bed.  So much for Momma’s Girl, she has daddy wrapped around her little finger.  It’s only “momma” when she is upset, tired or sick.
